About me

The work of Dana Day and our method of vocational discovery is for anyone, age 16 and up, who wants to make a decision about which type of work is right for them.

My guiding force is the love I have for the world’s young generation. I have so much compassion for all the teenagers who are not receiving the proper guidance and are so confused about their choice of college, trade school, profession.

Chances are that a confused young man or woman, aged 16 to 22, let’s say, is also confused about many other important things in life: their worth, about life’s meaning, about love, about their future, about success.

Someone who doesn’t receive proper guidance is subject to many external influences which can end up determining their life choices, and many times, not for the better. Thei potential remains unleashed, unlived, locked under other people’s fears and prejudices.

Dana Day stands for freedom of making your decisions about your life’s most important aspects: which talents you decide to develop, which education to get to polish those talents, which profession to get to put those talents to the use of many.

The first thing young people must learn is critical thinking and how to make decisions.

Nothing brings me more joy than to see a young person’s eyes lit up because they realized what incredible potential they have and the options they can have to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Sarcasm, cynicism, self-deprecation should not exist in a young person’s vocabulary. There should be hope, self-respect, ambition, positive action.

I think my work in vocational discovery stands at the cross-roads of education, personal development and youth public engagement. That is where, for now, I will direct my contribution through Dana Day and my discovery method.

My Journey

My own personal development journey includes a decade of learning (which I hope will be life-long) on the practical and spiritual path called Pranic Healing & Arhatic Yoga.
My eyes were metaphorically opened by the work done by Tony Robbins through his many programs, almost two decades ago, when I began learning about limiting beliefs, decision-making and the psychology of the six human needs.

The Landmark learning and introspection experience has also contributed to my understanding of the limitations of the human mind. I completed a year of Practicum at the Center of Mediation and Training in NYC, which opened my awareness to how the end of a marriage can constitute a moment of breakthrough in many people's lives, when they finally start looking at how they made some of the most important decisions in their lives.

Academically, I am a Political Science Grad of the University of Bucharest and I have completed two Master’s programs in International Relations and Global Affairs, one in Bucharest and one in the U.S., at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

I was honored to be selected to participate in an Executive Education program in Global Leadership and Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in Boston, USA, in 2014.

I have served as a Young Global Leader with the World Economic Forum between 2013 and 2018, and as National Vice President of Junior Chamber International Romania between 2003 and 2006. I continue to serve as best as I can, focusing mostly of young people’s education and empowerment in the past 7 years.
